Lasers & technology
Reduce sun damage, brown spots, and visible blood vessels with intense pulsed light — the most popular treatment for sun-damaged Miami skin.

IPL works best on lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick I–III). For richer Hispanic and Caribbean skin tones, we usually choose alternative treatments like targeted laser or chemical peels to avoid the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Dr. Puyana decides based on your skin during your consultation.
Treatments take 20–30 minutes. You'll feel a snap like a rubber band with each pulse. After treatment, brown spots darken for 7–10 days then flake off naturally — this is normal and a sign it's working.
