Peels we use

• Glycolic acid (20–70%) — brightening, mild texture refinement.
• Salicylic acid (20–30%) — acne-prone skin.
• Mandelic acid — gentle, especially good for richer skin tones.
• Modified Jessner's — moderate-depth, melasma and scarring.
• TCA 15–35% — deeper resurfacing (only when appropriate).

On melasma specifically

Melasma is the most stubborn pigmentation problem we see in Miami. Peels alone don't fix it — they're combined with prescription topicals (hydroquinone, tranexamic acid, retinoids), strict sun protection, and sometimes oral tranexamic acid. Dr. Puyana builds the full plan in your visit.
